Defense - E3/Sentinel's Defense Division supports customers across the Department of Defense, including the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Department of the Navy, National Guard Bureau, Office of the Inspector General, and Washington Headquarters Services. E3 is seeking a Senior Technical Analyst to support Research and Engineering (R&E) within the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD). Duties include:
Provide systems engineering and analysis of technical proposals and make recommendations based on technical feasibility, cost, schedule, and ability to satisfy strategic DoD or military-critical capability gaps.
Assist in the oversight of existing and potential projects, including tracking financial obligations and expenditures of projects and the identification of issues and formulating mitigation strategies.
Interact and maintain collaborative relationships with major stakeholders (e.g., Combatant Commands, Joint Staff, government labs, academia, and industry) to execute approved projects.
Review and coordinate concepts and requirements for potential projects, including current and emerging technologies. Represent the office as a subject matter expert at various Integrated Product Teams, Working Groups, and other forums.
Produce analytical products, directives, reporting documents, etc. for senior leadership.
Minimum 10-12 years of directly related experience.
Bachelor's Degree in a recognized engineering, scientific, technical, or related disciplines.
Experience in technology development, experimentation and/or prototyping; technology transition; and analysis and modeling of technologies, concepts and capabilities to evaluate and/or develop alternative solutions is required.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Experience working in a fast-paced, analytical environment.
Travel may be required, sometimes on short notice.
Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.
Experience in one or more of the following technical fields: Time sensitive targeting, autonomy, integrated fires, advanced electronic warfare, directed energy, networked command control communications, cyber, and space.
Masters degree is preferred.
Systems acquisition experience is preferred.
