less thanp>less thanstrong>GENERAL DESCRIPTION:less than/strong>less than/p>less thanp>Will perform Field and Sustainment level maintenance on aircraft avionics, electrical, instrument, and armament systems and subsystems, as well asinstallation, maintenance, modification, and repair of complex electronic equipment.Shall work in specialized shops associated with the Field and Sustainment level maintenance, fixed base operations, and perform troubleshooting and maintenance repairs on the flight line in support of customer requirements.less than/p>less thanp>less thanstrong>DUTIES:less than/strong>less than/p>less thanul>less thanli>Applies technical knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks following detailed instructions.less than/li>less thanli>Performs such tasks as replacing components, wiring circuits, repairing simple electronic equipment.less than/li>less thanli>Conducts testing and troubleshooting using common instruments such as digital multi-meters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers, and oscilloscopes.less than/li>less thanli>Required to read blueprints, build wire bundles, install wire bundles, use electronic test equipment, prepare aircraft for flight line inspection, troubleshoot aircraft electronics and determine courses of action for fault isolation/correction. Requires the ability to test instruments and maintain onboard circuitryless than/li>less thanli>Perform maintenance, authorized modifications and alignment on aircraft weapons components.less than/li>less thanli>Repair, replace, and perform operational and preventive checks and alignments on aircraft flight controls, stabilization systems, avionics and controlled cryptographic equipment.less than/li>less thanli>Manages Army Aviation Material Maintenance systems.less than/li>less thanli>Other duties as assignedless than/li>less than/ul>less thanp>less thanstrong>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:less than/strong>less than/p>less thanul>less thanli>High School Diploma or equivalentless than/li>less thanli>Must have completed technical or military aircraft avionics, electrician, or armament electrician maintenance course or have an FCC GROLless than/li>less thanli>Must demonstrate a thorough knowledge of aircraft weapons, weapon systems, and component parts.less than/li>less thanli>Must have 4 years direct experience in avionics maintenanceless than/li>less thanli>Must be a US Citizenless than/li>less thanli>Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.less than/li>less thanli>We maintain a drug-free workplace and perform post offer, pre-employment substance abuse testing.less than/li>less than/ul>less thanp>less thanstrong>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:less than/strong>less than/p>less thanp>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
