Job Description

Our federal customer offers an opportunity for talented, motivated individuals to support systems used at the highest levels of the executive government.

Ideal candidates will be motivated, self-starters with great communications skills.

Provide technical support for software and/or hardware issues. Troubleshoot and resolve training, networking and software issues. As needed, schedule and administer data conversion programs. Serve as technical and functional training expert

Tier 2 member needs to independently know when a trouble ticket is resolved and to make a sound decision to close it. Also, if they can't solve the issue, then they need to decide to escalate the ticket to the appropriate systems admin for resolution. In addition, if a ticket is sent back to the customer for action and sits too long with no action, the Tier2 member must decide how to handle that situation.

Provide technical support and troubleshooting services for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. Respond to queries either in person or over the phone. Respond to email, IM messages (IM), and voicemail messages for customers seeking help. Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.

Clearance Requirements :

Current Top Secret security clearance with SSBI conducted within the last 51 months is required.

Required: DOD 8570-compliant cert (Sec , CISSP, etc)
